[RC] 100's aren't for everyone.... - Todd Marshall

Interesting thread on why we sometimes choose LD...frankly,that is all I have time for. With a business to run,a four year old,and the demands of aging  in-laws and my parents,it is a miracle that I can even take off three to four days for a ride.Plus one full day to pack and unpack.I did three rides and one two day clinic last year, and it was only because of the support of my husband(babysitting, which I EXPECT),that I was able to go.I notice that most of the people that you see at rides do not have small children, though there are exceptions.Plus,I would feel like I needed to ride  10-15 hours a week to do a fifty. Our 25's in Fl can be hot and humid-people are throwing up during the ride.So I feel like it is a test for us,plus I feel comfortable doing this with my 15.5  old arab knowing he will be coming home in good shape.Of course when my son is older I may move up to the next level,I can see how addicting this is.But don't discount the 25's, they give us alittle taste-which is very satisfying if that's all you have time for!

    Sincerely,
    Alicia and Viktor
