Re: RC: DVE/LSD (Long)

Karen..

Hmmm....Good point. (I would love to do a slow ride with Trilby some
day....talk about stories to tell!) <grin>

Maybe I need to re-adjust my thinking here and modify my rules. Sunny
is no longer a novice traveler or campaigner and is 8. Two fifties on
two consecutive weekends is probably easier than a two day multi-day,
assuming:

1. You're not traveling a great distance to get to the two rides.

2. Knowing you're going to do a ride the following weekend, you just
treat it like a multi-day and ride accordingly. (Go slow, pay more
attention to EDPP, and general attitude, etc. during and after the ride)

3. If there are ANY problems at the first ride, or any noticable changes
in behavior, demeanor, or condition during the week, simply don't attend
the second ride.

4. You don't do this on a regular basis.

Thanks for your thoughts and advice. I will go into deep meditation on
the subject for awhile (read that "take a nap")...at least until the
snow melts.
