AND, the growth rate of the hoof is also a result of how
much conditioning the hoof is getting. (EX. the more the
horse is ridden barefoot, the more growth the hoof has.
Some barefoot riders ARE trimming every 2 weeks and have to
trim within 2 days of an endurance ride due to the use of
the hoof.) Hope I wrote that so that it makes sense.
