Virus from Texas?

I am pasting of a message a friend from California sent to me today. Has
anyone heard anything about this? I certainly hope it is a "tempest in a
teapot" or a false alarm, but it never hurts to ask. We take our horses to
rides where horses come from all over the place. The more information we
have, the better.

THERE IS A VIRUS THAT CAME BACK FROM THE WORLD SHOW IN TEXAS AND IS KILLING
 
ALL HORSES AND THEIR IS NO CURE FOR IT.  IT IS AFFECTING YOUNG BABIES, AND
 
OLDER HORSES.  A FRIEND JUST LOST 7 FOALS A FEW WEEKS AGO FROM THIS.  DONT
 
LET YOUR HORSES DRINK FROM OTHER SICK HORSES WATER OR RIDE IN A TRAILER THAT
 
HAS HAD STRANGE HORSES IN.  BE CAREFUL OUT THEIR.
