Hey yourself!! Feels strange to be home, and not riding...

John rode two horses 750 miles total - 400 on Bunchuk and 350 on Sukaro. I
rode 900 miles total - 500 on Jeziret and 400 on Santini (and Santini also
did the last day with Michele, my niece so he did 450 total). And the horses
look great - I'm pretty amazed... We only missed two days during the month
that we rode - I wanted to give the horses a little extra time off after the
first week of riding. In retrospect they probably would have done fine
anyway, but it felt like the right thing at the time.

My heartiest congratulations to you and Rocky and Weaver! Taking 2 horses
2000 miles, sponsoring a junior the entire way, riding up front some days,
riding in the back when you had to, your horses looking terrific the entire
way, and STILL managing to send daily posts and pictures to the Internet.
Truly a superb accomplishment. You had my vote for 'best performance' !

I counted at least 15 people on the Tevis entry list who rode at the 2001
XP.  I know others are on the waiting list..........if there are more
riders or crews that know of others going let me know and I'll be sure and
find you guys.  It'll be neat to see how many amazing XP horses do Tevis
too!
