Oh my gosh, >wheez, slap thigh, let me wipe the tears from my eyes!< you
found a GROUP of front runners, who couldn't get around a horse that was
WALKING? Heck, ya'll must be pretty mild mannered, in the South we'd have
climbed over the horse if the trail was THAT narrow! And because ONE
PERSON managed to totally block a trail, the entire group chose to never
competed in an ENTIRE REGION again...and gave up their AERC
memberships...and these were people who were sucessful enough to be
running up front???? Boy, you guys are a lot better at holding a grudge
than I am. Gas prices go up and I'd be right back competing in the
closest rides. Heck, if I was that strong willed, I doubt I'd be that
terrified that *somebody* might insinuate that I was a liar. Of course,
I'm a chronic picture taker and I'd have had proof in the pictures that I
was somewhere. By the way, what's a race if you don't beat anybody?

I have absolutely no stake in this argument. Don't know any of the
players or care. But if this were a novel I was reading I'd toss it it's
so badly written.
