The history of mankind is that we don't learn from our mistakes.  IMHO,
Howard is not trying to "profit", monetarily or otherwise from what he
did to his horse, which he freely admits.  He is trying to convey to us
what a traumatic experience this is and to implore US to use better
judgement than HE did.  I admire him for that and I think the rest of us
should learn from his mistakes, not chastise him for admitting he was
wrong......
