Re: Haflingers in Endurance
Theya re used with success here in the UK.  One stud used to compete their
stallions and I belive one reached gold series and did 100 mile rides.
Another was a member (I think) of the junior int. squad. One golden olduie
haflinger is used to introduce youngsters to the sport.
They will not out run an Arab in a race but can go for ever. On the down
side as they are bulky heat disperal and heart rates can be a problem.
