I don't think that is really the point--no one is trying to belittle larger 
horses here.  But it is on one hand darn hard to find a QUALITY Arab that 
really IS 16 hh, and on the other hand, it is frustrating to see a big guy 
buy a poor quality horse because of some misguided notion that he needs one, 
and leave a fabulous prospect that could carry him easily and gracefully 
because it is "too short" in his mind.  I'm not knocking anyone's 
"preference"--just trying to educate a bit and to help people get over their 
fears and look at horses that would do wonderful jobs for them.  I liken it 
more to a 6th grader that wouldn't be caught dead in anything less than 
Calvin Kleins (or whatever the current fad is) when Levis or Wranglers would 
cover the territory just as well and last longer.

PS:  I happen to like some exotic flavors of ice cream, too, but I won't turn 
down chocolate or even plain old vanilla if Baskin-Robbins is 100 miles away, 
either.
