RE: RC; Chiropractors

<<Mmmm, maybe what you're seeing is the palpation part? Cause I sure know
when
my chiro adjusts my horses! Then again, they're many ways to accomplish
the
same thing.>>

I actually had to ask Dr. Nancy Elliott if what she did was palpation.
She said, no, that it was actually the adjustment! L1-L2 subluxation.
The C1/C2 adjustment definitively looked like an adjustment.

<<Also, there is a guy who claims he can train the lay-person
to
adjust their own horse, dog, cat in 1 day. Mmmm, I wonder how many
people
take that course and then put out their shingle? I took a 2 yr course on

massage therapy, so when I see someone who took a weekend course and
they
think they know it all, it kinda gets me upset.>>

I actually bought his book, but reading through it gave me sufficient
pause to not want to do this myself! I got it just for my further
education. There are a couple of techniques in there that are
relatively "safe," according to one source, but she definitely got
the willies too about people taking the course thinking that they could
practice equine chiropractics after a couple of days seminar.

I guess you can see by know that chiropractic care has been on the
top of my mind lately with my bad back! Got to get back to excercising.
