Metabolic Pulls at Tevis

At the closing ceremony at Tevis last week, the head vet said that this
year there were many more metabolic pulls (I believe he said 89 but I'm
not positive). The thing that was interesting was that he also said that
maybe there should be a qualifying ride for those who want to do Tevis.
Hopefully that won't happen. I guess we all need to learn something from
these statistics.
