Or no ROC to give people incentive to do 100's. I think the two day 100
has gone by the wayside because of the demise of the ROC. If something
is not done to turn around this you will probably see fewer 100's in the
future. There doesn't seem to be much incentive to do one any longer.

If you look at the numbers from say '92 or '93 you will find at many
rides there were two LD riders per 50 mile rider at the SE rides. This
has shifted to about an even number. I some of the rides today, there
are even more 50's than LD's. Even at Million Pines this year it was
about 100 in each event. The thing that is happening in the SE seems to
be that the numbers are growing in both groups.
