Gaited endurance/Field trial horse

    My suggestion would be to look for a nice used Field Trial horse.Chances are,the horse has  bottom,if he has made it as a FT mount.If you are in Mississippi(?),you will find plenty of 'em.And,you could buy one at and during a field trial,where you could get a really informative test ride. Jes' remember,the only part of the sales pitch you pay any attention to at all,is:"Here is a horse......".Beyond that, nothing said is relevent to your decision!
