Re: Re: Enforcement of Pull

This is a rule I was unaware of - probably one of many - have not read the
rule book yet - shame on me. ANyway, when I pulled on Sunday at the NATRC
ride (I just wasn't having any fun. Had a flat on my trailer, and couldn't
deal with the rules, some of which I thought were stupid. Apparently you
are not allowed to just allow yourself to be dinged points and continue to
ride at your own pace, or walk, etc.) the vet came by to check my mare. I
told him I wasn't riding, but it would be great if he would look her over
anyway. He said, naaah. Hmmm.

Maybe we could simply add another category? NP (not presented) to cover
those foolish (IMO) riders who packed up and left without ever telling
management that they are leaving OR those (foolish) riders who tell
management they are pulling but refuse to have their equine checked.
