have you ever heard of Arnica?  homeopathic med. that comes under a # of
brand names.  ointment and pills.  i got a nasty bruise on my face from a
horse's head throw and a friend said that plastic surgeons recommend it
before surgery - cuts swelling and bruising.  it is like magic!  i'm a
horrible healer and it worked in the 1st 12 hrs.  had to keep it up a few
days.  give it a try.  haven't heard of any side effects. ointment works
well on sore muscles too.   good luck healing!  jm
