There are so many new things to learn when you are starting out and then you
learn more from there. Personally, I found it expensive to join AERC and
not worth it until I was able to be competing regularly. But I have limited
budget for things and limited time to do the reading, etc. However, they
would probably like your support. I feel like I get much out of IAHA but it
is worth it as I usually have at least one half Arabian per year to
register. I have some STRONG opinions about the way IAHA has gone and how
expensive it is to show. It leaves too much power in the hands of too
few-but that is a difference subject. You could always think..'Nothing
ventured, nothing lost".
