intro new member

Hi, I'm new to this list and endurance riding and wanted to introduce
myself. I have a 4yr old mustang that I am training and hope to do LD
riding with. I don't know much about endo riding but am trying to learn.
i am reading the book-Go the Distance and am finding it to be very
helpful. I've only been riding Katie for about a year on and off. We are
taking things very slow as she is still young and I don't want to do to
much to soon. i'm still not sure how well suited to endo she will be but
I have high hopes! She loves to go on the trail, we make much more
progress with her training out there than we do on our property. She
gets easily bored. Question- would anyone reccomend that I join the AERC
now or wait until I am more advanced? I think this list will be a great
help but any suggestions on how to get started would be very
appreciated.
regards, Judy
