Trail will consist of a 60 mile loop leaving camp and heading north to the Sierra del Rio Ranch, up the Oregon Trail and down into the Snake River Canyon, traverse along the river past homesteads and petroglyph boulders, out of the canyon, across the flats to the Joyce Ranch along Sinker Creek, then back to camp. Shorter loops out of basecamp will make up the difference for the 80 and 100 mile courses. Footing is generally good, 2-track, cowtrails and dirt roads, with some rocky stretches and some sand. Moderate difficulty. Plenty of spring grass and water on the trail! There will be a 3/4 moon for night riding. (plus glowsticks!
