horses and slaughter

I agree with Steph that this is not an endurance issue, I believe that
everyone on the list has probably spent enough time on a horses back that they
get along with horses and like them as well or better that they do with
people, so I can't see that we as a group contribute to the problem of
slaughtering horses but nor for the most part can we save all the horses in
the world. What we could do to make the world a better place is voice our
opinions without taking derogatory shots at anyone who disagrees with
ourselves.
