more defense of ponies!

angie

thank you sooo much for you defense of ponies on ridecamp. i agree 100%
with you. most ponies are handled by children - many of them inexperienced
- who have equally inexperienced parents to 'guide' them. no wonder ponies
get a bad rep! they cant help it if they are smarter than most horses
<vbg> they're fun, theyre mischievous, and they need a firm - yet
understanding - hand.

i was brought up with show ponies and owned a large pony (who had all that
pony attitude) until i was 19 years old. if i had my way, i would have a
barn full of them (show ponies or not)! one of these days, when im rich and
famous (read: never <vbg>) id love to start a pony rescue to give all
those maligned little critters the times of their lives.

long live the ponies!
