re: young boy

My gelding recently had a very similar lameness - but then it could be anything!  Anyway - he had strained the ligaments between the P1 and P2  bones and was a bit "Bobby".  More so on the downhill or a bit of rocky going.  My vet suggested keeping him in work but only walking with no down hill (very hard in my area!) and he has improved out of sight.  It has been 4 weeks though.

Don't know if it is even vaguely related but there was no obvious heat or swelling and it was mainly through manipulation and comparing legs that we found the cause.
