Re: Adaquan and humans

Cosamin is sold only thru healthcare 'professionals'. Any one of them,
perhaps even your pharmacist, can order it for you, your horse or your dog,
as it is non-perscription. One client has been using it for several years
for a 12 yr lab with moderate to severe hip dysplasia and comes now only
rarely for acupuncture treatments. People start with three a day and then
reduce after a month to two per. There are also generics that we have not
tried.
Adequan is glucosamine only. Libby likes the benefits of a generic
for her horse. Cosamin products are a mix with chondroitin. The
manufacturers have done real research and they work.
