Pit Crews

Most rides in the NE do not provide hay or water.  Some checks have 
natural water and others do not.  But I have never been to ride where 
the ride management or some other riders pit crew would not take stuff 
out for my horse.  Everyone is helpful, managers, other competitors and 
other pit crew.  It's just easier on me if I have someone to pamper me 
and my horse.  But doable without.  Rather go without a crew than stay 
home.
