Cathy,

Are your 2 half siblings both full Arabs or the same mix of breeds?  If the 
half difference is a breed difference, it could perhaps account for the 
difference --- I have a friend who rides Morgans very successfully, but the 
Morgans heartrate runs quite a bit higher at the same pace as do my Arabs.  
(Too simple an answer, I'm sure!!!!)
