It would really depend on the location and severity of the sarcoid.  Also, I
would want to know how it had been removed.  The best results I have seen have
combined surgical removal with either freezing or cauterizing the site.  In
some cases immunotherapy is also necessary.

If a horse had had one removed quite some time ago and it was not recurring,
it wouldn't bother me much unless there was a scar in a location that would
rub.
