Two Questions - Pleeeese

Hello Ridecampers,

1)    I have been looking at 'rump rugs' and was wondering what brands or
types you all like.  Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

2)    Also, I may be able to talk my husband into doing one day (LD) of the
Death Valley Encounter.  (I know he will become addicted after one ride
<EG>)  His gelding can be a handfull at the beginning of the ride and then
he settles down after a little while.  Would it be legal for us to switch
horses during this period for safety's sake.  My husband has not been riding
horses too long and might be better off on my mare first thing in the
morning when everyone is so frisky.
