Cannon bone sizes

This thread has been interesting. Like Lif, I just went out and measured my
horses' cannon bones. I don't have weights (other than SWAGs), but do have
heights. So here is the info.

16 yr old Arab mare, 14.3 hands, maybe in the 900 lb. range: 7-3/4"
1 yr old Arab gelding (her son), 14.1+, weight irrelevant at this age: 7"
12 yr old Arab mare (cousin to 1st mare), 14.2 h., maybe 825 lb.: 7-1/4"
And the 10 yr old Appy gelding (not an endurance horse) who is built like a
tank didn't want his cannons measured today, thank you. He's 16 h. and at
least 1300 lb right now. Not that heavy when he's conditioned. I have
never been concerned about his cannon bones, but his feet are WAY too small
for his size. He's strictly a pleasure horse.
The 12 year old has done some distance riding (not my horse, so I'm not sure
of the details). Has always been sound. Ridden very lightly now, as her
owner is away at college.
