WHAT?!!! Only four? At one time we had, I think, eight. These were a
collection of her original saddles --- the first was in 1974, I believe. In
those days one cost $350 brand new, or was it $250? Then we added some
inexpensive used ones, bought a couple of new ones before the price went up,
or whatever our motive was. Eventually, various people came along an bought
them from us, new, used, or whatever. We are now down to two (later models).
Makes sense, doesn't it? There are only two of us at home now and the
saddles fit every horse we own. Sharon had come out to measure our horses
and they all fit the same tree, so ------ Our motto: " We never had a horse
that a Saare saddle didn't fit".
I'm going to have to send my husband's saddle back for refurbishing, as he
has worn it to a frazzle. The tree's fine, but the fenders need
repair/replacing. If you like the more "western" type saddle, they are great.
