Re: BC vs. first (and arrogant oldies)

So, why don't we start one of those lists (like the despooking lists) of
silly (preferably cheap) awards that we can give on rides of ANY length?  I
like the turtle award idea and the middle of the pack is fun, too....there
must be many more!  And, so ride managers don't complain they have ENOUGH
to do already (I KNOW, I KNOW!)... why don't we, the riders, implement them
ourselves at an upcoming ride???  Of course, it might be one of those
things where we just have to improvise over the duration of the ride and
make them up as we go along and those funny silly things happen like they
do.  You guys have been around longer than I have (at this point) so I am
sure there is something!  How about a special prize for the lady caught
with her pants down when she thought she was running last?  Or the
inevitable "injured" rider who rides anyway and then gets stung by ground
bees?  Or how about a NICE award for the rider who goes out of his/her way
to help another rider (like a good samaritan or sportmanship award)?
