I was not on an official ride when I sored Jonathan's back but I know I
cried buckets.  I felt so bad that I caused my horse to suffer!  I am sure
kids have a similar reaction.  I don't do everything FOR Jenny at rides but
we work together.  I feel that as her sponsor and mother, it is my
responsibility to TEACH her what she needs to know.  Sometimes we teach by
showing how...and there is nothing wrong with showing her how to utilize a
good pit crew (big smile here!!).
