lower limb angle deformity

Anyone riding a horse or used to have a horse with a lower limb angle deformity?  Specifically, this horse looks like he's toed out, but he's also got a little bend between the front knee and cannon bone.  If any one has good or bad experience with this, please drop me a line and let me know.  This is the husband's new horse (leased) with the problem.  Finally found the horse he wanted with the right temperment and training, and now this.  Uff-da.

Thanks -
