The advisories issued by oil companies and cell phone manufacturers are
real, however no cases of actual exploding gasoline fumes have been
documented (contrary to some previous e-mails). Check out this story on
various hoax/urban legend websites to get more information.  This is not a
true hoax or UL, but it's getting blown a bit out of proportion (no pun
intended <G>).  The danger is REALLY minute, but it never hurts to take such
a simple and easy step.  I'd say using a cell phone while driving is MANY,
MANY times more dangerous... and people do that all the time with no second
thoughts.
