Karen,
    I loved reading your OT experiences.
    For me, that trail has been the subject of some of my fondest memories in 
thinking back over some beautiful trails I was fortunate enough to ride (Big 
Horn, Land Between the Lakes, Tevis, Davy Crockett Nat'l Forest, etc.).
    The year I was at OT, Crockett actually video taped the five days...the 
video is beautiful and I have had many friends view it who have made that 
trail their goal.
    Riding through the Escalante River, down through the canyon and seeing 
petroglyphs and graffiti from the 1500's Spanish military certainly was 
surreal.
    We will get back down there.
