Nancy,
I loved your story!  I made the mistake of rewarding Suni with carrots when
he pee'd on the trail because I had to buy the shavings he soaked every
summer.  He figured out how to give a few drops at a time so it would last
and then, just like yours, stretch since he figured, "What the hell, close
enough".  And they say horses can't think abstractly.
