I know that you CTR judges can whip those rank critters and people into
shape in no time.  {:)  With 30 days under saddle, my mule Clovis went to
her first distance ride.  Of course it was CTR.  It was fun to see most of
the oldies still competeing.  That ride was the best thing that I could have
done for that poor scared confused mule.  Every man that walked past was
called over and I handed him a horsey treat and asked him to feed it to her
and pet her.  That worked miracles.  She discovered that not all humans
(especially men) were horrid creatures.   CTR is a great teacher for both
the horse/mule and there riders.     gesa n clovis
