Re: Half Chaps

I've gone thru a couple pair of the Ariat half chaps which worked okay but
are a bit stiff and the zipper is a bit awkward to zip up. Last year I
found some by Practical Choice that are a suede leather with a wide velcro
strip up the outside of the leg which secures them nicely and doesn't leave
any gaps, and a mud flap over the laces part of the boot. I like these a
lot better than the Ariats -- not only are they faster and easier to put
on, but they are semi-adjustable depending on whether your calf feels thin
or fat that day. ;-) I got mine at the convention last year and I can't
remember which vendor I bought them from. Perhaps someone else knows.
