NATRC Rules

I took Suni on several NATRC rides several years ago.  We couldn't compete
because Sun has long sloping pasterns and I had to shoe him with egg bars to
give him the support he needed.  I think they may have changed the rules now
to allow egg bars, but anyway, in those days, they did let you ride "hors de
concours".  Little bit frustrating because Suni always got excellent scores
and could have placed, but I got to ride and we LOVED the rides.  Just have
to decide what your goals are, I guess.
