I know someone who did embryo transfers, using Quarter Horse mares, for her
purebred Saddlebred breeding program. She was hoping the quieter QH mares,
would influence these saddlebred babies, and make them a tad "calmer". Well,
did not make a difference! They found no noticeable difference in the babies
raised by the QH mares, and those raised by the saddlebred mares. I found
that interesting.
