We've had great luck with the Cashel pads in my camp program (30 horses
+ 30 miscellaneous saddles, all of which change from year to year). 
They are cheap and durable, and do the job.  Did you know that you can
get western shaped/sized pads from Cashel in flat, reverse wedge, and
wedge designs?
