Re: Summer Breeze



Please do not over electrolyte especially BEFORE any ride, you should sponge
as often as you can. The sponging will bring down the critters Core temp.
and will also clean the sweat pores as well as prevent chafing.
I have learned that if you can put a damp towel over the critters eyes and
face it will cause the horse to relax as well as cooling it head. Make sure
that you wipe the face down to remove salt and dirt. Stop's them from
itching also will cause P&R's to drop very quickly. Also sponging all
"private parts" any sex will also help, don't be shy all sex's love it. p/s
all this should be done on training rides prior to a race day. It will be
routine the critter's will look forward to the addition care, and be less
fidgety when vetting out.
