I have been wondering about this pad myself if its the one Im thinking of, it 
was like you said, the grooma glove, wouldn't the weight when mounted push 
down and make little indentions on the horses skin, I know those rubber 
sandles with the ribs that fit between the bottom of the toes and the ball of 
the foot hurt my feet, (just an example).  I saw one at a resent clinic I 
attended and the women said she loved it.
