I have used the "recipe" which contains Skin So Soft (believe I got it
from the Fun Stuff portion of Endurance Net...somewhere!) which includes
vinegar, water and either eucalyptus or citronella oils.  I know that
others find other "oils" to use also.  The mixture isn't so bad and in
my experience (used the eucalyptus oil) it worked well....the bugs
couldn't get away fast enough and in a pinch, we could use it on
ourselves and our dogs, too.  However, it does need to be reapplied
often.  For those who like the "natural" products, this is a good way to
go...can be cheaper than some of the other all natural sprays.  To each
his own...I still haven't found a spray that I am 100% satisfied with
but then I live in Michigan, where it was 92 degrees last week, 52
degrees yesterday and I have heard there are freeze warnings issued for
tonight!  The bugs have been absolutely vicious lately (at least last
week when it was so hot)...no matter which product I use or how many
times a day I sprayed my dear Jonathan, the poor bugger seemed to get
eaten alive...even had blood stains from getting bitten up in the
groin!
