Re: knee surgery

ANGIE! RELAX!!

My Springer Spaniel had the same problem and
is almost recovered from the surgery five weeks ago.

They trimmed the folded cartilage and replaced the
rupured ACL with nylon sutures.

The first thing they do is SHAVE ALL THE HAIR OFF
YOUR LEG. This will probably spoil your chances for
the July REDNECK BEAUTY CONTEST!

The dog was able to get around quite easily on three
legs. You may have more difficulty (unless what Lynda
Corry says is true).

If you need more info, email "Jenny" at this address.
And good luck with YOUR surgery. I can give you
the phone of her surgeon if you want a second opinion.

LOL

John (Vermont)

P.S. I had knee surgery on February 26th to repair the
miniscus and was off crutches in three days. In ten days
the surgeon said I could ski, ride horseback or whatever
else I felt up to. Part of the quick recovery (IMHO) was
that my legs were strong from riding.
