Rein attachments - followup
Thanks for all the responses to my questions about scissor snaps and my
unnerving experience with one opening unasked. In response to some
questions raised, the snaps were delivered as part of rope reins I bought
only a few months ago from an endurance vendor, and the tension seems
excellent.
At this point, I am unwilling to take a chance to this happening again. Is
there any reason why I should not just forget the snaps and run the rope
reins through my eggbutt snaffle, using the conway buckles to secure the
reins?
