RE: "Natural Balance" shoes

Next thing you will be in the sky with diamonds. I thought all good British
drank tea, at least I do even though I am second generation away from the
old country.

We have been using a version of this shoeing method as our farrier is quite
close in consulting with Gene Ovni*** the developer. He makes his own
version of this shoe in steel and we have found the horses do a bit better
with them. Less stumbling (our horses are real daisy clippers) and a smother

Get questions from unknowing vets but we really like them. When you get
right down to it, the shoe as placed on the horses hoof new, is very close
to what the actual hoof looks like when worn with out the shoe in extensive

So, Tell me what this "re-potted" means. When we lived in CA back in the
60's we knew all about pot but this re-pot must be added strength???

Does anyone on RC use these shoes, or have any comment on them?

Provo just got a pair added to his feet and I'm very happy that
he now appears to be placing his feet on the ground, instead of
plonking them down like sacks of potatoes, but am curious as to
how they'll work.

But, you're not allowed to say anything like: "OMIGOD You didn't put
*those* on, did you???" because we've got another 50 coming up
on Sunday, and I'm already suffering from overload of coffee which
enhances endurance riding paranoia, OK?

So soothing, calming comments only please.
