Proud flesh remedy/humidity
Now that's a concept - humidity. Our horses live now in a dry
climate. One horse we have since sold kicked out through a fence at
another horse and sliced open the back of her pastern above the bulbs -
we used the water treatment only, no bandages, an antibiotic ointment
the next few days and then left her alone. She did have a slim scar but
no proud flesh. I thought it was from all the exercise but maybe it is
the lack of humidity? Lif
