Hello
We had a 6yr old gelding that was allergic to fly bites and our vet suggested 
Vetalog shots. This stuff really worked great. We gave him a shot about every 
3 to 4 weeks. not only did it cure the sores that the the fly bites caused 
but keep the flies off of him.
after we started to give him the shots he never had a problem with the flies 
all summer.
like I tell everyone that I respond to ---- It worked for us (and very well) 
but it may not work for you.
