[Fwd: Rice Bran]

---- Begin included message ----
Only a small portion of my so called financial benefits are derived from the sale of Natural Glo, my income is based on the brokerage of a wide variety of products and horse training.

No need to throw mud Susan but that seems to be part of your rebuttal (but then I was 21 or 22 I thought I knew everything there was to know about horses myself).  Not everything about horses is based on numbers and as I approach 50 years of age I remember a piece of advice given to me by the late Jimmy Williams.  The older you get the more you find out how much more there is to learn about horses.  My response was as *objective* as yours since it seems your an expert on stabilized rice bran and would like to be considered an expert on horses as well.

You on the other hand are a student, not a Ph.D. and the nutritional analysis published by the NRC is based on raw bran, exactly where I suspected you got most of your information.
The analysis on a bag of NG or SF is mostly what is required by law, they would need to print on the entire bag in order to accurately represent a complete and detailed analysis of Food Extruded Rice Bran.

As much as I would love to join in on this lively debate I'm going to defer.  Look for a response to your article posted by others more qualified than yourself in the field of equine nutrition.  I don't have the time nor the inclination to debate nutrition right now, I have more important things to do.  I faxed you a more detailed analysis of Natural Glo stabilized rice bran and as I said in my prior post, please call Natural Glo direct for more information (1-800-680-8254 ~Toll Free) and speak directly with the manufacturer!  Right now I am going to get behind a set of ears and feel the wind on my face.

Best regards,
Charlie Thomson,
just a horseman.

As every word I said in my article (except for the one opinion from
Heidi Smith) is based on results from empirical peer-reviewed research,
from nutrient analysis published by the National Research Council, from
clinical texts, and from label copy and nutrient analysis derived
directly from bags of Natural Glo and/or Satin Finish...I look forward
to your rebuttals to my "hogwash".

Keeping in mind, of course, that while your livelihood depends on
selling of rice bran, *I* don't derive any finanical benefits whatsoever
from having published such information.  So who do you think might be
the most objective person here, Charlie?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Susan Garlinghouse, MS
