Jennifer,
I've used Sevin Dust on dogs and pens for flea infestations.  Never tried it
for ticks, or on a horse. I don't know if it would react differently or not,
but it's great if you have a dog or area that is loaded.  A friend of mine had
a dog that for some reason got coated with fleas, and we put the Sevin Dust on
him quite heavily and just watched those suckers dance!  I'd be interested in
hearing if anyone has tried this on horses or for ticks either.
