Re: RC: cinch galls

HI!

I've been using a neoprene girth from Gerres (sp?) that has little vent holes
in it. I really like it. I have a small (14h) mare who is a little round,
too. It was expensive (about $60), but it really keeps her cool. I've found
that with good care (removing the shed hair and sweat) from the girth
everytime with ride, keeps it very supple.

Do you stetch out your horse's legs before you mount up? If you cinch up to
your desired tightness, then pull the front legs out the pull that loose skin
away from the girth, you may eleviate your problems.

Hope this helps! SusanJ
